Give me back my sock you goat bastard!

First up date of this week. Not because I've been particularly busy but just had a lot on my plate.
Monday - Woke up and felt like crap because of the lack of sleep. It was ok though as I had to train someone all day and then write a report for one of the big wigs so was quite an interesting day. That was until SHE decided to text me with reference to our joint account. I was quite angry as after her previous effort of ignoring me in town, I didn't want to speak to her. But, she persisted as when I got home and turned on the PC, she had managed to get on her brothers msn and was trying to talk. ANGER! Jesus, this was really working me up and then she started coming out with some real nasty things about how shes moved on and made plans. What do I care? I've made plans etc but just feel the need to boast about them or try to make myself feel better by downgrading someone else. Anyway, I left on a good note, she went an extra step further and was very horrible. Monday night saw me stay in. Aimee came round and with James and Nora, the four of us had food and watched a film. Really good evening.

Tuesday - Felt awful in the morning, just couldn't pick myself up out of bed. I was so tired after the late night before hand!! Got into work and booked a half day off. I also decided that the best way to end all of the HER problems was to sort the joint account and say goodbye for good. When I got home, I sorted the logistics and emailed her to say to sort the rest. Did I get a thank you? What you think. No, all I got was ok! Not that I was bothered as I blocked her email address straight away anyway, but someone how it got through. I went and took the dog for a walk with Nora and started to feel better. Got back and she had actually replied, an hour and half later, with a brief thank you. I never responded. So I monged for the afternoon and sorted out an application form for a new job. Before going to pick Matt J up to go to watch Alien vs Predator. Now, the company was good and I had a laugh but the film was poor!! Only, a couple of good bits but I'm glad I've seen it.

Wednesday - Work. Oh no! I had to work a full day!!! It was ok though and I just cracked on with it. Rang NTL to get a phone line fitted and then rang the water company to find out where my refund was. I had been promised a call back yesterday, but did they? I went made today and then the girl told me that I'd been mis-informed and I wasn't due a refund. I hung up couldn't be arsed with those robbing bastards! But, this was going to cause problems as that money was HER's so I had to text her and tell her. But, that's it now, no more. Got home and I was rung up by the Customs and excise office for a telephone interview. It went well and I passed the first stage. An application form is now in the post! James also got one too, so we can help each other. Football tonight and off to meet the two lads from the pub on Sunday, Neil (Josh - spitting image of Ben Pym when he's older) and Michael (an Irish version of David Sneddon), should be a good laugh! Keep safe folks, and remember don't eat yellow snow (2.15 - coffee house!!!)

From right on top to straight back down

Oh dear, what has happened to me this weekend. From being mega happy and intent on having a good time without past memories ruining what I think life should be, it all came back to haunt me.

You can probably tell already that this update is going to be very different from the jovial brightness of the previous post, and there is no simple explanation for this. Friday was a day off, and the evening was a quiet night out. I went round to Matt J's house at about 6 and we got some beers in and played on the PS2 intill we finally got a taxi about 10.15. We got into town and went straight to the Gatekeeper where we had a few drinks and then went onto Edwards. We weren't in there long before SHE arrived with her sister and 2 older men. Her sister gestured towards me so I waved in a civil manner and moved upstairs to get some distance. Now, having not seen her for 3 weeks, and then bumping into didn't really feel that bad. Now, the comment I'll make next may be construed as me being a bitter bastard but this isn't the case. She walked in, and my first reaction was what does she look like? Any, part of me that used to find her attractive has died, perhaps because I've now realized how nasty she can be. Anyway, me and Matt moved hastily on, but we didn't realize that they've already left. We went straight to the Philly as we were meeting people there and guess who'd decided to go there too!!! She walked past me and I made an effort to try to catch her eye and I just wanted to say hello and be civil to her face. I wasn't given the chance as she ignored me and moved on upstairs with the two old blokes!! Now, as I don't want to get back with her and I didn't find her attractive, why the big deal? To this question, I do not have an answer. I feel that as soon as I saw her all the confidence that I had built up over the last couple of weeks had disappeared and I just wanted to go home. We stayed for a while longer and had a chat with a few people before getting a taxi home. My head was pretty messed up and I didn't sleep well at all, and Saturday I was quite down.

So, I didn't do much at all Saturday day. I just waited for Rob Ahearne to make an appearance and we started drinking for the fancy dress party in town. I was a gangster and Rob was Zorro but all the women in town thought he was Batman! I found it funny he didn't! We went to the Gatekeeper and then the Walkabout for a few drinks before the party. The Walkabout didn't disappoint again, as like last week I had a wicked time in there. A group of women were dressed as gangsters so they immediately wanted me to join there gang for photos etc. I got chatting to a really nice girl called Nic and a good time was being had by all. It was getting a bit late now and we needed to get to the party so we made an exit and went to Sugar.

The party was ok, but I only knew about 5 people and I'd sobered up and was getting to a point when instead of having a good time, I wanted to go home. I chatted away to a few peeps and the atmosphere in the party was good but there wasn't any music and very few women so we decided to make move. Unfortunately, everywhere else now had queues about 5 miles long so we wandered around before giving up and going home. I got a taxi and James was still awake so we had a chill out and watched Die Hard with a vengeance! Got to bed about 2.30 and slept slightly better.

Sunday morning and I still feel quite nervous about things. It's a horrid feeling when you do not want to feel like this and there is no reason for it, but you still do. I got up about 12 and went running around Roath park. I Felt really good and after running for about a mile, I realized I needed to slow down as I was running at 5 minute mile pace!! I blasted a couple of laps and retired to the flat where I tried to recover and await the footy later on today. Hope I can break myself out of this rut, and have another good week. Got a party on Friday with work and Grizzly is coming down from Port Talbot. Should be meeting Louise one night, cinema club another so quite busy..........Perhaps it will be alright after all!!!

Josie, your my source of most frustration

Friday and a welcome day off, but I can hear you all asking - Gav, what have you been up to?
Well, your lucky cos if you sit crossed legged on the rug we'll have a story time!

Wednesday - Easy day in work 9 till 2.45. Went pretty quick and without any hassles. Got home and chilled out with a film, The Devil's Backbone or Espinazo del diablo, El, was quite good. Big thanks to Jo JO who lent it too me! After that the pub beckoned, and me and James went to watch the Arsenal game. Unfortunately, they were showing the Chelsea game and neither of us was particularly bothered about who won!! So a few jars later and 60 minutes of football and it was back to the flat. I was shattered so I stuck on some Family Guy and went to bed pretty early!

Thursday - Man, work took ages today felt like I was going to be there for an eternity! I enquired about some jobs from the Western Mail and have got the applications forms through on email, hopefully, one of them will a ticket to a better job. Finished work and got back home in a very good bout 5.20. Chilled for a while before starting to get ready to go out. I went to Bar Is Is to meet a girl that I'd met previously on Saturday night in the Square. I got there and Louise was already there. She's 27 and training to be a dance teacher! Had a good laugh a few drinks and felt really good. She'd driven so she even dropped me off home! Had a good night and we are arranging a night other mine with Drop Dead Fred on DVD!!!!! Funny what you'll talk about on a date!!!

Got back to the flat, and Nora was wrecked on red wine, so opened another bottle and we all had a good drink! I was a bit worse for wear, but I ended up watching The House on the Haunted hill with Famke Jansen. That was actually pretty good, and then I k'o'd bout 1.30!

Friday - I got up at 8.15 to drive James to work! What a good boy I am! Got back and went straight to bed!!! Then went and met the old mother goose in town. Had a coffee and a good chat and then came back to chill!

As for the forthcoming weekend, it is quite busy again but not as bad as last week, but I'm sure I'll have some goss to spill in the next few days so keep your eyes peeled and get ready to tune into next weeks exciting conclusion of Batman....Oh sorry, got a bit carried away then!!!

Yeah thats right 6000 Chicken Fajitas Posted by Hello

Can I have 6000 chicken Fajitas please?

It does seem to appear that life is all of a sudden pretty damn good! This last week has been mad, and the energy levels are depleted at present, but enjoyment levels have flown sky high. Work was ok yesterday and was pretty good today. Laid back, met my targets and had a laugh. One of the girls managed to come out with the line 'I've squirted plum juice all over me'! Well, that slayed me to the point that I couldn't breath. Lucky, I never had any water in my mouth otherwise it would of been (in the style of Mark and Lard) I was having a drink then!!

Quiet one tonight, no cinema club as the returning Hbos'ers Matty J, Perry, Don and Dolph need time to recover from their Newquay excursions. Sounded like they had a good time!!

Busy weekend ahead though, and with Friday booked off work its a long one!

Ouch! Evo juice aint going down well for Matt in Oz bar Posted by Hello

Part 2! The Never Ending Saga!

The Walkabout was nice and bust but you still had room to move, which is always a bonus! The pint cocktails were on along with a Banofee Pie shot! As soon as the camera was brought out, the ladies wanted in on the photo's! See the pics here!

At this point, we were having a right laugh, but we moved on to The square! Met some cowgirls. Quick Tequila and then we went and met Aimee and her friends who were also dressed as cowgirls! Into, the Ox bar for another Evo Juice and a white and choc mint double of Corky's!! Finally, moved from there and went to the Philarmonic. It was rammed as usual, so popped downstairs and got some more shots on the job. Matt bought a Mexican bullet which was vodka, tequila and something else! Was proper rank!! Then a few more shooters and the flamin Zambuca's came out! I was pretty wrecked at this point, but the night was far from over. Bumped into one of my ex Tesco Colleagues, Aysha. Hadn't seen her for ages and it was good to catch up.

We left the Philly at about 2 and got food, before trying to get a Taxi. Finally got home at about 4, bed at 4.30! Good night had by all.

Sunday - Woke up pretty early and never bothered going back to sleep, so me and Matt got some munch on and tried to overcome the impending few hours off feeling like a pig had shat in our heads! Pro Evo helped!! No rest for the wicked though, as it was my Dad's fiftieth birthday party. James, Nora and I picked Joshua up from Crane's (Good luck with the job mate, you deserve it) and Matt picked up and Nan and Gramps. Got to Rhoose at about 5.30 and tried to cure my tiredness by drinking some more! The party was cool, and I had a good chat with my Nan's and Gramps, who all wanted to make sure I was doing ok!! Dad seemed to enjoy his day and I'm glad cos he's a top bloke. Mum had bought him a holiday to Canada, so I'm on babysitting duties in November! After, all this excitement I was shattered so got back and watched Mean Machine, before getting into bed and passing out immediately!!

Monday - Work, Tired. Staying in. Nuff said!

P - A - R - T - Y? Because I GOTTA!!!!

Well, this is the first chance I have had for 5 days to sit down and try to update, and read everyone else's blog. Busy is an understatement! So, make yourselves comfortable cos this could be as long as one of Po's tales!!

Friday - Work was a good laugh, really relaxed and finished early anyway! Straight home and I had bought the new Pro Evolution Game for the PS2, so that took an early bombardment! Off I went to pick up Rob Ahearne and the party commenced. After a quick pitstop at Tesco's, back to the flat, drinks, and off into town for Katie Hughes leaving do. James came with us and Aimee had just been dropped off here too, so we got a taxi to Lloyds bar. It was rammed, and the bar was 5 people thick. The Hbos'ers were out in force. Marcus Green, Katie, Kirsty, Gareth, Julia, Matt H, Will and more but my brain is still trying to come to terms with the weekend, so apology's if I've missed you off. Over to the Gatekeeper where the drinks flowed constantly till bout 11 and the group split between Reflex and Edwards. Left for home bout 12ish, (I think) and got a taxi with James and Aimee, got some grub and then stayed up with James till bout 3 in the morning and we were both pickled!!!

Saturday - No hangover! Thank god, as I had loads to do! Woke up and my phone was under constant bombardment from Andrea. I had spoken to her last night when she rang but as I was out on the lash I didn't want to speak to her. After about 30 phone calls, I finally picked up the phone. Wasn't the nicest conversation in the world to be perfectly honest, there was a lot of anger from both sides, and I really let fly with how I felt. Anyway, its all behind me now, as I do not have to have any contact with her at all. The numbers gone from my phone and so is all traces of her. My brother Matt arrived bought 12, so we went to town and bought some DVD's and a new shirt!

The day was rapidly approaching the night, and the beers had already started to flow. We got ready, and the taxi arrived on time to take us to the Gatekeeper. Few cheeky doubles and we were well on the way. Over to the POW and another double and a Evo juice (wkd blue and smirnoff ice). On to the walkabout where the fun had just begun!!

Don't try and piss in my pocket and tell me it's raining

Life it seems has a very funny knack of letting you get back on track before kicking you square in the nuts. That pretty much sums up this weeks actions! Anyway, here's the week in bits.

So, Tuesday. Actually got up feeling ok, still got a bit of cold, but am managing to get my head together and am actually starting to quite enjoy myself. Work was ok, got with what I had to do and had an hour off right at the end of the day, which is always a bonus! A brucie bonus! (Get your own cathphrases Kelly!!) Finished work and went straight to Asda. Met James and Nora and did the weekly food shop. Mental note to self - don't go shopping with both of them, its one or the other!! Nah, honestly, it was cool and the first time that it didn't feel weird doing shopping without her. Anyway, got back and stuck a pizza in the oven before being picked up by Matty J and going to the Springbok.

Twas' a good night, felt relaxed in the pub, had a beer, but was still a bit twitchy as the previous time I'd been I bumped into her sister. Anyway, the cinema club was back on form. Perrry and his new missus, Matt J, dolph, Gemma, Don and I all went to see the same film!!! Layer cake. Wasn't great, wasn't awful. I would say a review will be on the film log, but I have been really crap recently and haven't done the last two yet!! If you like British humour and a shady drug dealing type plot then go see it, there are a couple of great one liners (see title of blog).

Got home and chilled with J and N before going bed. Slept well again!!

Wednesday. I didn't want to go to work, just cos I was well tired. Probably, because I'd got up an hour early thinking I had to take James to work, when I didn't! My face was probably a picture when he told me!! Work was ok, but as an added bonus, I booked a half day and left at 12.30
Straight to Tesco's to grab a few things, but I bumped into one of my old work mates, Will. Hadn't seem him for ages and he was well surprised when I told him the news about her. But, we exchanged numbers and will go out soon. It's funny how many previous social connections are re-opening now I'm back on me todd!! Finally, went and bought my desk after Tesco's and got back to the flat about 2. The whole reason of the half day was kip, but it didn't happen. The desk took me ages to get together and then I was on a one man mission to finish my bedroom ,so up went the pictures, posters, DVD, ps2 etc! Looking good! Pictures on there way in next couple of days!

By this time, James had come home and we went over the Albany to watch the England game. What a waste of time!! At least the beer was cold! Had a good laugh though which at the moment is all that counts. Back home and Becky Kennedy arrived for tea. What a good laugh we had. Bex had never met Nora and they got on fine. All had tea, watched some TV and chatted shit! Great evening. For the first time, I felt like this was my house. The bedroom was finished and I'd finally got rid of the feeling that I had just popped round James and Nora's house!!! Bed earlyish!

Now, Thursday. I have had an awesome week so far, I feel great within myself. I haven't cried for over a week and rarely think about her, hope your all proud!!! So I went to work with a smile on my face, until bang it all went pear shaped. The SLT job. I must of got it, well no, somehow I didn't and have to rot in fraud. Was pissed right off for all of 2 hours until I just cracked on with work and thought I don't want to work here anyway, so what does it matter?

So, now I'm home and I'm feeling top notch again. Am so looking forward to the weekend, Friday night out with work, Saturday my bro, and Sunday my dad's fiftieth party! Bring on the booze! I DEmand booze!!!

Stumble to the kitchen, pour myself a cup of ambition!

The first proper weekend in the flat has come and gone, and I have to admit that I had a wicked time.

Friday night was fairly laid back. I was really tired and was still feeling rough. The three housemates cracked open some JD and had a night in front of the TV. It was pretty cool, nowt brilliant on TV but it was a good laugh. Saturday, and I got up bought 11. Sorted some stuff and waited for James to come home from work. England were taking on Wales, unfortunately Wales forgot this and didn't even try!! The venue was the Billabong, and the beers soon flowed through several hours of banter and football. The exit from the pub seemed tricky as food was required as was more booze. Suddenly, Withnail (James) had the bright idea of doing both at once at Tesco! Scotch eggs, spag bol and beers! Back to the flat, X-factor and more football. Finally, went bed at about 1.30 after watching Another 48 hours. Was a bit worse for wear, I have to admit.

Sunday - It had finally come to Cardiff!
Had a busy day so managed to lie in bed too along and having to rapidly jumping in shower, and preparing for an appearance in society! Owain, Bex Kennedy and Matt Ford where going to the bay for food, and it was good to get together. Had some munch in the Salt Bar and had a few chilled hours, before saying goodbye, and going back to mine with Owain. Mad mission time then, as we had to walk to town. Collect my brother, have a look in a few shops, get batteries for the camera and.....Oh yeah, go watch RAW Live and Loaded. Hell Yeah!
Awesome evening, the seats were brilliant and the wrestling was good. When we first sat down, a door opened next to us and Maven came out said hello and went back in. I sat in silence before realizing who it was. Before, we know the doors opened again and Eugene was there. I couldn't believe it, they were like a metre away. Then, the door goes again. William Regal. Well, I was loving it! The fights got going and the banter got more frequent, the occasional wooo.

Check out the photo's of the event on the new blog. The Son of the Hyperdoopelator has been born, The bastard child of a weekend in Cardiff.

Highlights of the wrestling. Well, Val Venis was class and the money shot was well received. Seeing Jericho kiss ass and Edge spear Christian! Rhyno's gore, Euguene's stunner, Kane's chair shot, HHH's entrance, HBK loving the crowd, Flair's comedy fall, Benoit's beating and then the massive German suplexs!! A great night had by all.

Left Owain, and got home back 8.30. Had food and went bad, was proper bo though I can tell thee. Monday, and unfortunately I had to return to work. It was alright though, and I came away unscathed. Didn't do anything tonight, except set up the blog and cook tea for the house. Am pretty busy now till next Monday, but will try and update as often as possible.

Better get myself Connected!

So, the internet is back in action. Thank goodness! I had it installed on Thursday but it didn't work and someone had to come out today, then I spent half an hour on my mobile ringing them to fix it!! Probably cost a fortune, but the net is back!!! Quick re-cap on the week!

Wednesday- Got up and promptly was sick and had awful sore throat. James insisted that I ring in sick so I went back to bed until 2 o'clock. Not the best nights sleep. Probably didn't help the cause. A couple of weird, horrible dreams freaked me out. When I awoke, I slouched on the sofa and was soon joined by Nora who was also ill. We chatted and didn't do much else!! James came back and had to move more stuff. I was feeling minging so I stayed in again, but this time it was all 3 of us. The first night we'd all been together in the place, so we had some food and drinks and watched Hollow Man. I relaxed and felt really comfortable with them and with myself. I went to bed about 12.30, and when I got into bed, I managed to take a whole breathe which made me feel safe. The first time this had happened for 5 weeks. It took me a while to get to sleep, but I was soon out for the count and only woke up to my alarm at 9.30. I felt damn good!

Thursday- My Mum came over in the morning and met Nora, before we went out for a coffee. It was good, and me and Mum had a good chat, and although I had a difficult five minutes I was soon feeling pretty good again. Mum stayed for a while and then made her way to Nan's. NTL turned up and installed the net, but then it never worked! Me and Nora then went to get our haircut. Mental note to self - NEVER DO THIS AGAIN!!! It was a really good laugh, but when you normally pay a fiver to get your barnet chopped, having to pay £18 makes your butthole quiver!! Yes, she took ages on it, and yes it looks pretty good, and other people have said that not just me!!!! I was still feeling rough, but had promised to meet Katie Hughes from work for a drink. I felt anxious before hand, because I hadn't had to go out on my own like this for a very long time. Katie's cool and is my of my close friends from HBOS, but it felt weird! As soon as I got there though, I just completely relaxed and I felt great. Katie's sister Amy was also there, and we had a wicked chat, a few drinks and a bash on the karaoke. So, this goes out to all the HBOS'ers who've never heard me sing. If you want to find out what it was like, go ask Katie!!
Picked up a Chinese on the way home, and Amy came back to mine and we watched a film and chatted for ages. Katie had work the next day which was a shame otherwise she would of come over too.

It's amazing how a couple of low days get immediatly erased because of a couple of good days. Thursday was a good day.

Friday morning, and I still felt like crap, so I phoned in and went back to bed before the NTL man woke me up. He fixed the net and off he trotted. I on the other hand, had a raging headache, blocked nose and felt like I could sleep for Britain. I stayed awake though, so I could get a good sleep tonight. Nora came back from her girly night out about 12, and she was in a right mess, so we both went to get some fresh air by taking the dog for a walk!!!

As for this weekend, hopefully, the flu won't hold me back to much, and I seriously cannot wait for the WWE on Sunday. I know it's sad but this is a dream I've had since being a little kid. I have always wanted to see an event live. Here's my chance - WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Look at the stars, how they shine for you?

Monday. The first night in the new place was good. Sleep was average, not crap, not great. The trip to work took 10 minutes! I love that! No more sitting in traffic for half an hour in the morning! Work was ok, I just cracked on with it, and eventually left at 6 after making an hour up for my day off on Thursday.

I went to Asda (again!) and bought Eternal sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Awesome film, but it's a bout a relationship split so I haven't watched it yet. Might give it a week!! Please, go see this film. It is brilliant and I would love to talk to someone else about it!! No one I know has seen it, except my little bro, Josh! He loved it too. Got a bin and a few bits and bobs for the flat, and went home. Nora made me laugh when I got in, as she was so excited by this reality TV programme with Donald Trump!! She had to fly to Corfu tonight so again it was me and James. James didn't finish till late so for the first time, I was in the new flat on my own. I kept busy and set up the TV,DVD,video systems in the lounge and cleared the final boxes from my room. It looks good, as soon as it is finished I will get some photo's on. Just chilled in the night, as I am still really tired at present. Need to re-align my body clock!!!!!

Tuesday. Bad day. Really down in the morning but only when I got to work. I really struggled and for no apparent reason. She text me again, which really got to me this time and I had to let rip when I got on the phone with her. After, she didn't have any common courtesy to respond to the note I left in the house the other day. I was angry wither, because she expected an immediate reponse to sorting out the final bills when she hasn't even got them at the mo! She said that she didn't care anymore because she didn't have to, and I said that she hadn't cared for a while and had just used me. I have finally reached a point when I don't ever want to speak to her again, and a lot of people told me this from the start, and they don't want to speak to her either. Can't wait to sort the final bills, and severe all ties with her.

Tuesday evening and it should of been the cinema club, but it didn't happen. So, I stayed at home with James again and a few of his mates came round which was cool. Had a good laugh and went to bed really early.

Free Cable! Who told you that, what is his name? I want it

The weekend has come and gone, as has the last month. It's now other a month since the dead duck day, and my feelings are mixed. I look back and think, wow, its gone really quickly and then I look at individual days and nights and it seems to of taken for ages. I have wished a lot of the last month away, just because I wanted to get to a point when things would start to feel better, I wasn't hurting inside anymore and I had little chance of bumping into her.

The Saturday morning was tough, I won't lie and tell you it was easy, and standing in the doorway of that empty, knowing what I was leaving behind, really sticks in my mind. It felt like a movie, I was doing the obligatory turn around, look back and then walk away scene. The folks were great and the large bottle of JD they bought me for the new gaff will come in handy! Big Thanks to the Evans family, I would of been useless without you all.

I got down to the new gaff, and the boxes filled my new room. I was a little worried about space, but as soon as I had turned the bed round to where I wanted it, the room seemed to double in size!! My Dad stayed a while and helped me with the room, and I was grateful of that as he can come out with really sound pearls of wisdom. James and Nora soon arrived and started to move there stuff in, I really started to relax for the first time in a month. Me and Nora chatted away eating marmite on toast, before I had to get ready to drive to Port Talbot.

The drive was pretty simple and the car seemed fine. A few cans at Paul's and then the pub, then onto Swansea. It was about 3 and a half years ago the last time I went out in Jack land, and I did have a laugh! I do have photo's but due to not having the internet at home until Thursday I can't upload them. We went to the local before getting a taxi to Swansea, and then went on a mini pub crawl. I was introduced to the world of Abosolute Chambulls! Vodka, Red bull and champagne! Smells like feet, and doesn't taste much better!!! The first place was called I Love Vodka! Certainly, a statement that I don't agree with. Well, from there onto the Lounge bar. Quite a weird place as there is a no smoking rule, so the air is breathable! After, that we went to Chicago Rock and then onto the Walkabout.

This place was big! And it was rammed, but it was a really good laugh. Everyone seemed up for a big of a boogie, and no hassle. I really did enjoy myself in there and felt as I didn't have to worry about anything. It was in here, that a couple of women grabbed my mate and asked if I was Spencer Moon from Eastenders. Everyone thought, this was hilarious except me! All I had all night was ' Alright Spence'! Funny the first time, not the 300th!! It even sparked another conversation with a set of girls in the queue for Jumping Jacks! Now, this Jacks was about twice the size of Cardiff and twice as busy! I was pretty knackered at this point, and food beckoned.

Me and Paul had a good chat on the way home, and sitting in his house. Haven't really seen the lad properly for a while and it was really good to get back to how we used to be! A very good mate, and one that I could trust my life with.

Sunday was ok. I wasn't that hung over so the when I finally managed to get out of bed, I didn't feel the need to eat a box worth of Alka Setzler! I got back in the car and made my way home, it seemed to take forever, and when I had to wait in a massive traffic jam at culverhouse cross, I thought I was going to have to do a Michael Douglas from Falling Down!! Now, that would of been funny.

I popped into Asda to try and get a computer desk but failed, so bought some bed sheets etc and got back to the flat. As soon as I turned into the street, I immediately felt a sense of security come over me, and for the first time in a while, there was going to be other people in the house when I returned! James sorted me out with a cup of tea and I cracked on with some bits and pieces, before just slobbing round chatting to Nora!! Over to the Albany pub then to watch the footy, Chelsea vs Liverpool, pretty crap match to be honest but got me out for the house.

In the flat again, and Nora had to go to fly to Bodrum (lucky her!!) and me and James had free reign over the new house. Takeaway and a DVD, before more football! Quality!!!

Stanley Ipkiss quote: Nice guys finish last

Jim Carrey got it right in this film, nice guys finish last. But, then they manage to pull Cameron Diaz!! Oh well, perhaps there's light at the end of the tunnel. So, Thursday. I woke up feeling ok, but that soon ended when Andrea texted me and I had to ring her. She was going to get her stuff that night. I was fine for the rest of the day and actually got involved with this project in work, which is going really well, and I seem to be getting a lot praise for once.

I finished early and took my Nan shopping at Asda, as Gramps can't drive again yet. That was ok, and helped me try to relax. I picked up a new duvet and pillows and Nan insisted on giving me some cash. I said no about 50 times but she wouldn't give in!!!

Got home and started sorting the flat. Andrea rang me early and came over about 5.30. I had sorted all her stuff out for her, but see couldn't take any off it then, as she was going to do it Friday morning. I wasn't very happy, but didn't have a choice and we did manage to have a chat and say goodbye to each other. I was strong and I was quite proud of myself afterwards for dealing with the situation in an emotionless way. I was even okay afterwards. I packed more stuff and finished formatting the script. 96 sides!! Holy crap, I've never written anything of this size before!!

Friday morning was ok, but I was a little tense as I knew Andrea was coming to the flat. I had written a note which wished her luck and dealt with some logistics. Work was ok, if a little slow. Andrea text me at about 4 and said she hadn't dropped of my PS2 stuff. I rang her to find out what was going on, and then decided I'd go pick them up for myself from her mum's. I left work, went to Asda for some boxes and then to Andrea's mums place. This wasn't good. I was as strong as I could be but speaking to your ex's mum is not good. She was lovely but there's nothing that she could say that would make me feel better, and I felt awkward.

I got home and there was no response to the note, just the keys pushed through the letter box. This really hurt, as I thought that I at least deserved a thanks. No, all I got was a kick the face. This got me really upset, and also made me quite angry. I packed and packed more stuff, ready for the big move tomorrow. The last week has been very hard. A limbo week between my new life and my old life. I've had a good few chats with people this week, and it's helped a lot. Tomorrow, will be the test. Go, get out there and enjoy myself. I'm off to Swansea tomorrow evening, so I should be able to relax up there, away from all my troubles. Looking forward to wearing my new gear, and having a laugh.

I will be without the internet for the next week, until NTL arrive and install it in the new place. I will try to check on the blogger's, and update in work. Thanks everybody, this nice guy is moving on.
