The Mutts Nuts of a weekend!

The Manchester trip!

Arrival time 4.30 Saturday - Time to get on it!

After the decent journey up, we met Owain, Anna (Owains missus) and Adam Taylor (EX-HBOSER) and had some grub before starting to get ready for a mad for it night out in Macnhester. We soon got on the beers and wine and got a taxi into town to get to (excuse spelling) Tri-becker. A weird bar with beds downstairs for chilling out on. It was ok and the beer was cool so it was happy days. We moved onto Spirit then on Canal street which is the gay village of Manchester. It was pretty rammed so went up upstairs and they were some quite fit straight women! After a few drinks in here, Owain had to go home but Me and Bex stayed out with Adam and his gay mates Daniel and Ed. We went to Viva La Fosse which was packed with blokes. I was a bit freaked out at first but after a gay guy told me i was dead sexy i laughed my tits off!!

Met two girls from Manchester, Jane and Becky and had a few drinks with them before moving on to the Mutts Nuts. The night was called Poptastic and the drinks were well cheap. By this point we were all getting pretty wrecked and i moved onto drinking Cheeky Vimto's which got me even more wrecked. The music was well cheesy and i managed to pull Kelly from Preston who was pretty smart! Easiest chat up line ever - Are you Straight?!! Happy days.

Left at about 2 and got a taxi home where stayed up for a while chatting before going to bed.

I woke up the next day and felt rough as but then i went back to sleep until 12 and when i got up then i felt fine. We watched Lemony Snicket and then got ready to go to town. Me, Owain and Bex caught the bus into town and went shopping. Bought a couple of CDs and a wicked new shirt. Then we went for food in the Printworks. We then bumped into Katy Prince (EX-HBOSER) and she came and had a drink with us. She looked really good and seemed happy. After this Bex had to go back as she was wrecked still but Owain and i went to see the Jacket. A paradoxical style film which touches on several emotions before delivering a fantastic finish - 5 star film if ever i saw one. Was so impressed nearly had me in tears at the end and certainly a film to think about for a wjile afterwards.

We then went back to the flat and grabbed all of ourstuff before dropping Owain at Anna's and then starting the long drive home so we would miss Mondays football traffic. We started off well and i was flying to be honest, then nightmare time! Bex all of a sudden said this was our turn off, i was just thrashing down the M5 and hadn't noticed our turn off but i followed Bex's instructions and turned off!! The wrong way! Ended up heading towards Warwick and having to go and buy a map and turn around. Cost us a bout 1 hour in time but.....this is where it gets interesting. When we got to Monmouth the A40 was closed due to a massive crash which we could of been caught up in if we had gone the other way. Scary stuff peeps! Fate is our saviour.

Dropped Bex off at about 2 and then made my way back. I got stopped by the police at CArdiff Bay as they were after a stolen Fiesta! I said well it aint this one and they left, still scared me a bit though. Back to the flat and straight to bed.

Monday - Got up about 12.30 and went to James mum's to help him out by getting her car. Came back watched a bit of the playoff final but it was rubbish so came back and then had a text from a girl i'd met a while back and had found her number before i left to go to Manchester. Well, we quickly organised a date and i was a bit nervous. We went to the cinema to see House of Wax. When i got there i couldn't see her but she was bang on time and she looked absoltuely stunning. Brown hair, brown eyes 5 foot 2 and shes just got something about her that made my stomach flip! The film wasn't very good and as soon as the film started i just wanted to talk and talk to her. Well, we've agreed to meet again and i can't wait just hope she's interested too. Feel nervous just writing this now!!!!

Nice to see you to see you NICE!

Another couple of weeks roll on by and i get ever closer to my 24th birthday. Works good but quite hard and life seems to just be ambling along as i try to decide what the hell is going on.

After i came off the painkillers, i went and got lashed on friday night and i mean really pissed. Can't remember how i got home at all cos me and Mat j had been drinking several bottles of white wine in the Philarmonic. Didn't pull or really try to be honest haven't got the energy to just be disappointed by the girls i meet. Need to find someone i like and is older than the bloody students in Cardiff.

Went and watched the football on Saturday in The George and bumped into loads of people i used to play football with in Uni. dunce was there and he made me laugh still as stupid as ever. The match was pretty good and after the excitement of the penalities we went bowling in Spin. I was crap but i was wrecked again. After this i went home so i grabbed some munch and then got back to watch the second half of the eurovision song contest. dolph came round for a bit cos he was wrecked too and ended up crashing on my floor!

Sunday and i was in bits so did nothing. My teeth have started hurting again so pissed off about and had to take some more bloody tablets! Watched The Punisher which was no where near as bad as i had heard it was, i actually thought it was pretty good and very dark. Then i watched Dark City which again was weird but good although the story was the same as the matrix.

Work this week has been tough i've been really tired and with my teeth as well i've been a bit grumpy. Also, i've had to do the hardest thing in my career so far, tell someone that unless they improve there out the door. Not nice at all. On Tuesday though i did a Bruce Forsyth performance for Play your cards right. I had a wicked time doing and everyone was cracking up laughing and getting well into it. Higher or lower and nothing for a pair not this game! I was laughing my head off and afterwards the reaction i had made me feel great. Everyone was telling me how good it was and that they'd really enjoyed it.

Last night, i got smashed watching the Liverpool game and then went to the welsh club. I'd never been in there before and i thought it was quite good so happy days. not feeling nice today though, hung over like a drunk in a liqour store. Never mind out again tonight and then the trip to Manchester on Saturday with Bex to go see Owain! Ding dang doo

Are you LOCAL?! What a kurfuffle?!

Some news just in.....Well not just in as i should of put it in my previous posts but i just down right forgot!

I have offically entered the BBc Three sitcom writing competition. I finished the script last week and it was sent off through email. I had response back saying they'll look at it, so have to wait till the end of june before i know if i get through to the second round! Its about a Private investigator (insert investigate privates joke) and was jointly written with Lynne Austin from the Halifax.

I have now started writing my second sitcome piece which is set in a video shop and is going well at the moment so i will have to keep you updated. If anybody wants to read any of it let me know and i'll send it to you via email!

Rigjht, i been dentist and now i'm going to play football, then bed as knackered! Tara now!

Wisdom, who the hell called them wisdom all they do is hurt like 8888!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Teeth! Wisdon teeth in fact!! in the last week i've been in immesne pain, had my gum pop and lose about half pint of blood in space of 30 minutes where i couldn't get it to stop! My mam thought i was going to have to go hospital and it wasn't long before i did!!!

Wednesday morning i was down the emergency dentist with Don who had the same problem!! Man it was a long wait and when i did get in there it was more pain as they poked and prodded. Bleeding gums again and 14 pills a day!! When i got into work after taking the first 4 i was spaced to the max and nearly spewed!! Battled through it though! Got an infection where the teeth are coming through and got to go back next week to have some gum lasered out!!! Yummy!!!

The drugs are so strong that they make me feel really ill but like Daniel Bedingfield said I Gotta get through this! Work has been tough this week with my teeth hurting so much! But this cheered me up possible the funniest video i have evcer seen. If anyone watched Family guy then you should appreciate this. Its similar to a scene where Peter goes Oh no, no, no and the Kool Aid man comes through the wall and goes OH YEAH!!!! Please have a look!

I can't drink on this tablets which now means i haven't been on the lash for nearly 4 weeks but luckily some ladies have still been popping round!! HAHA! Yes, i'm turning into Deuce Bigalow. As long as i don't get a bird with turretts i'll be happy!!!

So, looks like the trip to Manchester is being finalised so get ready to rumble on that count! Thanks for the comments guys its good to be back. hope you like the titl i kinda figured it was apt seeing as i have now reached the 350 dvd mark!!!

Anyhow, town beckons cos i got nowt else to do, so enjoy!

Ok Ok so I've been away for ages and I have lots of news. I have to admit that I went through a phase where I just couldn't bring myself to write on the blog. I wasn't enjoying it anymore and it had started becoming a chore, but I feel a bit different today and finally want to get some stuff down on the site.

Firstly, the new name. The old one needed to go as it didn't represent what I thought anymore. The 7 months that have passed since the dead duck day have obviously involved a lot of thinking, drinking, flirting, cavorting and general fun but also a lot of reflection. The last months I have had some mad times. Kent with my brother, back up here with my brother!!! I bought a new car - a lush Ford fiesta Flame. I got promoted in work to a team leader and its going really well. All of a sudden I had women falling at my feet which hasn't happened for a long time.

Been to the cinema loads recently too, Hitchhikers guide is crap, XXX2 was better than I thought it would be. The Interpretator was ok. Amytiville horror was class. On the dvd front, I've seen Kill Bill 1 and 2. The first is the best, yet the second one is still good. Mystic River is absolutely brilliant and Napoleon dynamite is really weird but very funny!!!

I have had a recent road trip too which was amazing. On Monday 9th May I went to Sheffield for the day with my dad and brother josh. We left at about 9 in the morning but a trip to Mcdonalds and petrol delayed us slightly, but we eventually got to Sheffield about 1. We went shopping in Meadowhall for about 4 hours and I spent some serious cash!!! I haven't been out on the lash for 3 weekends now so I have saved some money up!! Bought some new clothes, new shoes and dvds!! Then we went to Sheffield Indoor Arena to see Queen Live!!!

THE BEST CONCERT IN THE WORLD EVER!!! IT ROCKED!!!!

We were right at front, it was filmed for DVD and Brian May was about 2 yards in front of me at some points!! I loved every single second of it and had an amazing time. It was really emotional cos Freddie's mum was there and Paul Rodgers did Freddie proud! He was amazing and a real showman, fair play to him as he had some big shoes to step into and he never tried to be Freddie. He was just Paul Rodgers and he was freaking class!!! The set went on for about 3 hours and then I had to drive home!!! Made it back at about 3.30!! I was knackered and work the next day was real hard work!!!

What else!!! Umm not to sure was seeing a girl who worked in the Philarmonic but that fizzled out fairly quickly. I'm well happy at the mo so that pretty much says it all!!
