Night fever night fever!

Had an awesome week and a hospital trip!! Yes, my plan to stay out of casulaty this year has fallen by the way side. Last week, i pulled of an amazing feat in work and rewarded myself by going out on the lash on Saturday night. Matty J and Leavers came out and we had a wicked night. We toured the usual places and ended up in the Philly. We met up with Rob Archer, Anne-Marie, Katy Prince and Gemma Ford! It was great.

On the way home, went to Miss Millies and then made my way back home. Unfortunately someone thought it would be funny to run up behind me and smash my head into a wall. Split the top of my head open and spent a total time of 7 hours down the Quacks! Had my head glued back together. I'm fine though and have just cracked on with my busy week.

Went to Becky Kennedys house on Monday night and had a great time. We had food and watched The Amityville Horror. Then had a good chat afterwards.

Tuesday, i watched The Company of Wolves which was really weird but entertaining none the less.

Last night, i went to see Saturday Night Fever at the Millenium Centre. I had bought tickets for my Mums 50th birthday. We went out for food first down the bay and then made out way over to the show. It had Barry from Eastenders in it and the show was class! Absolutely brilliant. At the end everyone was up on there feet singing along and having a boogie. One of the best musicals i've ever been to. Mum had a great time and we've decided to book tickets to go and see Footloose in there in January.

Today was ok in work, had a long day as i had to have a Video Conferencing call at 4. This was pretty cool though. The wonders of technology.

Back in Black - Quite Literally!

Its been quite some time since I sat down properly and decided to write a blog entry. Some might say too long and others might say not long enough so I reckon if I stick somewhere in the middle then I can't go far wrong!

The last proper entry was back at the beginning of August and a lot has changed since then. Let me see if I can go back in time and recount the activities that have shaped my existence.

August
Well, the highlight has to be the 2 weeks spent looking after Josh. Well, not looking after as the boy is old enough to do that himself. Let's just say guidance or maybe just a big brother style capacity and I don't mean the TV show. Mum and Dad went away for 2 weeks to Italy so I booked time off work and spent it up in Rhoose.
Just before this I attended the best training course I have ever been on. It was based around NLP and the stuff that Derren Brown does. It has well and truly changed me for the better. If you have a chance then have a look at the world of Neuro-Lingistic Programming because there really is a vast amount of information out there that you can use.

Anyway, away from work Josh turned 16 on the same day that he picked up his GCSE results. He did really well, better than I did actually the little git! We had an awesome party in the night to celebrate and the house did get a little messy. The kitchen was bogging but drinking games and teenage shenanigans ruled the roost. Karaoke took place as did some serious drinking!
The next morning was not a pretty sight and the challenge of cleaning up without throwing up was on.

After this a few rounds of pitch and putt took place down the local golf course. The Porthkerry Golf association summer tour sponsored by the Barry Gem and Green Valley spring water was invented. The next few days saw The Rough Putter and Geoffrey 'The Issac' Hayes play a few rounds whilst commenting on their performance. This was the lead up to visiting the largest pitch and putt course in the UK, with a rather special camping expedition to Newquay.

Josh and myself packed up the car and left the day after the bank holiday for the long drive to Newquay. The first day was boiling hot and we were able to go to Hollywell park to play golf which had some awesome holes. Death or glory was a favorite where you basically twatted the ball as hard as you could off a cliff!

We went out on the razz the first night and ended up getting a warning when we got back to the campsite, but the next day was to be spent surfing. Except it pissed with rain and thundered with constant bursts of lightening thrown in for good measure. We went surfing anyway with some massive 10 footers crashing onto the beach. Josh was good and did manage a spectacular 360 somersault off the board where as I barley to managed to stand up once!

The second night camping and in the morning we left. It was an awesome little break.

When I returned to work, I found out the news that we had been head hunted as a team to move to the bay to work! Awesome, I am now a Business Change analyst and I work opposite the Welsh Assembly! Its wicked and I am loving the job. Been on some really difficult projects and have performed really well so looking for a good pay rise in January.

My trip to Amsterdam for 3 nights was out of this world, or should I say out of this mind. Tony and myself really get in some worse for where states out in the Dam. Booze and weed took its toll and Tony started to talk to Alfred the Dwarf! Funny as! We visited all the tourist locations including Anne Franks house, Van Goghs gallery, The Heineken factory and the Rijskard museum. We have already booked tickets to fly out again next March. Carnage is the word I'd use.

I have taken up running again and am working really hard to get fit enough to join Les Croupiers running club next week. I'm looking forward to it as I've built up a level of fitness and am really getting back into it again. Am already thinking about entering a few races.

I have finished my film script and am in the process of getting it proof read before I send it off to a few places. This has taken a while but I am really excited about it.

Overall, I'm doing really good and living life to the max. In the next weeks, I'm seeing Saturday Night Fever in the millennium centre, watching Wales vs Fiji and Wales vs Australia. I'm going to Edinburgh with work to visit a couple of work sites and then I'm returning to edinburgh again for a Xmas shopping day.

The blog has restarted!

Sanity awaits!

Wow! My god live is so much better now that i have escaped from NBU! Honestly, I don't read going to work anymore and i actually feel that i have a proper job!! I have responsiblities and deadlines, projects and presentations! I get praised instead of continually passed over and i trust the people that i work with. Its really refreshing!!

Have had a good time since i started and have had some important stuff to do as well. I am in the process of presentating several different slide shows around the whole gate, so everyone who is learning who i am and its great!! I'm learning so much at the same time and its all transferable skills so i can get all this training and hopefully develop myself even further.

Last weekend was mental! Went out on the friday night for a leaving do in work which wasn't the best of nights but i still ended up quite pissed and up till gone two with james! Then the next day i decided to step back into the underwriting shoes and decision fraud for a day!

Now, before you say you big mentalist! There is some sanity being my decisioning (Oh PUN tastic, thats even amazed myself). If i worked the Saturday i would be given a free ticket to the Community shield in the Millenium stadium. Chelsea vs Arsenal! So after work it was the first day of the Championship season and Wolves were live on TV against Southampton! The new away kit duly arrived on the Saturday morning so i felt like a little kid getting all excited by putting my new top on and going over the pub.

Wolves drew 0-0 and i got pissed again! Hooray! I then sat down and watched the Machnist. What an amazing film - 5 stars. I loved it, really graphic, tense and thought provoking film.

Then Sunday, Got up and walked to town. Met Paul Gray, Don and Wendy Crotty and went to the Old Orleans and got back on it! Gemma and Emma arrived and then Dan Chapple so we all had a real good laugh before making our way to the stadium. The atmosphere was great and i loved every minute of it. Henry is class but chelsea deserved to win.

After this we went back to Old Orleans and drank and drank before everyone went home except for me, gemma and emma. On we went to Varsity and carried on drinking and doing karaoke! It was great fun and it was the first time that i've been karaoke properly since splitting up with andrea. I was well pleased with myself and i felt great. Probably cos i'd had 11 pints!! So i went home and James and Noralauaghed at me cos i had to go to work the next day but i didnt care!!!

Monday - i was hanging! Bed early!
Tuesday - Went to Penarth with my dad and Josh for food. We had a real good laugh and me and Dad chatted how we both enjoyed working together when i finished my GCSE's. I will always look back on that summer as a brilliant time. I saw some sights thats for sure. I worked as a labourer as my dad fitted cookers and fires. It was such a laugh and i earned a mint. I always remember, this high rise flat that i went to where this man (much of been over 80) was living in such squalor that i almost cried. Just a few matresses in the corner of the room and that was it. The place stank and the flats were crawling with druggies. We tried to fit the old guy a new cooker but he just asked us to leave it there and then he tried to offer me some money. A two shilling coin. We left him and called social services. When i mentioned to Dad he seemed really sad and even said he had nightmares over ity sometimes. Makes me really sad. That guy deserved better but no one cared anymore. I'll never let my parents live out there days like that.

Some of the funniest times ever happened that summer though too. The famous ham sandwich incident is just one and there are so many others. I'll never forget that summer and i hope that Dad wont either.

Wednesday - Went to watch the Skeleton key with aimee. The film was crap the company was good!

Thursday - Off to play footy now and just bought a new printer so i can work on my film script!

Hope your all ok, perhaps see some of you soon

Does anybody read this anymore?

S its been a while and what the hell have i been up to. Well, i got bored with writing the blog andsince Owzy wenty awol for a while i kinda did the same. I been quite busy though to be honest. So lets have a re-cap.

- Was getting dicked around in work so applied for several other jobs and managed to secure myself a Change Anaylst job. Perm Level 2! Happy days, been doing it for 4 days now and i like it. A proper job!
- Turned 24 and got absolutely wrecked out of my face for my birthday. Pub golf in town whic turned very messy, and came home with the ex!
- Got rid of Natalie cos she was boring. Fit as you like but no personality. Gutted
- Been Chepstow races and met a nice girl. Seen her a couple of times but don't think anything serious will come of that either. Obviously something wrong with me! Possible commitment phobe issues!
- Went Alton Towers for two days and stayed in the hotel. That was class. Rita Queen of spped was well good but Air was awesome!
- Had a boys reunion on Saturday and ended up smashed out of my face - not as bad as Perry or Dolph though! Was really good to see everyone.

And thats pretty much it. I may start again but i wanna change the name again!!!!
Speak soon

I heard the news today oh boy

Monday 13th and i cried today. First time in quite a while. Not even really sure why, seems stupid thinking about it.

Havent felt myself now for a good few days and i've been a little confused to say the least. Me and Natalie are getting on alright, taking it nice and slowly. But i have had the stupid ex flicking around again, as soon as i get her out of my head she manages to contact me and flip back upside down again. It always seem to be when i go away for some reason or another. Edinburgh - she contacted me. Sheffield - and again, then the other week, Manchester - as soon as i got back she pops up again. Its the most annoying thing in the world. If you've seen the film Swingers then you'll know all about this. Vince Vaughan aka Trent explains how women have a sixth sense to try to fuck you over when you've just got right again! Seems to be true!

So anyway, she had a dvd of mine and i have had to ring or text several times for the last week to try and get it back. Perhaps she likes me texting her, i don't know but it just got me really angry till i almost exploded on the phone yesterday. She was ill in bed but i just let rip about common courtesy and how shes just down right rude. Anyway, she just dropped it off now and i had so much i wanted to say today but either i was gutless or good sense prevailed. Not sure which yet perhaps i'll realise the answer to that question in a few months!

So my head is a minefield at the moment but i know what i do want to go to Newquay on Saturday and have a blast! At that is exactly what i'm going to do!!

Film wise - i've seen Creep - sick film but great!!
Undead - an aussie zombie film which is class!!!
Swingers - Funny as hell
Alice in wonderland! - disney head trip!
One night at Mccools - very hip funny film
A Better tomorow - awful
Lock stock - old skool

and then yesterday i watched the Woodsman. I was a little pissed and it was really heavy going but i loved it. Kevin Bacon is such an under-rated actor who i've always liked since seeing him in Murder in the first, sleepers etc etc. This film is a bout a convicted peadophile who is released into the community and how he manages to cope. Honestly it sounds dark but i will defintly buy this when it comes out on dvd - go see it!

Anyway, i gotta go play football and then watch Peter Manfredo (hopefully) kick some ass in the final of the Contender!!!!

Sin City - I wish i was a Sinner!

Absolutely Class - 5 Stars without a doubt and the best looking picture in years. Contender for best ensemble cast ever and a riot of a film. Mega violent but really stylised. Fantastic, i mught even go again this week and its been a long time since i've seen a film twice at the flicks!!

Other news still seeing Natalie and quite happy if a little confused considering the last nine months. Bought Creep and Swingers on DVD and the guy in work looks like he has listened to the master and started performing!! Hooray!

Footy tonight - happy days - SAfe y'all

Sup, Sup with the whack playstation sup
